As we have been writing about entrepreneurs, senior entrepreneurs and then women senior entrepreneurs, we have also not mentioned another growing group of entrepreneurs that have office space for rent Toronto within our office business centre – immigrants.
A great number of immigrants with unique skills make their way to Canada every year for a new opportunities and a chance of a better life, only to find that the skills they bring are sometimes not recognized or accepted here. Many are Doctors, Engineers, PhD’s and other highly educated people who find themselves with degrees that are not accepted in Canada. While many are forced to take low-paying jobs to survive while trying to acquire the necessary credentials, other are choosing to create their own jobs by starting a business.
With limited funds and resources, immigrant entrepreneurs are finding that taking office space Toronto within an office business centre is the best option for them. They realize that an office business centre offers them a place to conduct their business in a professional setting at a prestigious address, without the capital funding for office furniture, office equipment and support staff.
Seeing the successes of many immigrant entrepreneurs, the Government of Canada is now actively seeking the world’s best and brightest to launch their companies here in Canada. This can be seen recently when Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney announced that Canada will launch a new program on April 1 to recruit innovative immigrant entrepreneurs who will create new jobs and spur economic growth.
The program called Start-Up Visa will help Canada become the destination of choice for these entrepreneurs. In other words Canada will be recruiting entrepreneurs from all around the world to help our country remain competitive in the current global economy.
The Start-Up Visa Program will link immigrant entrepreneurs with private-sector organizations in Canada that have experience working with start-ups and who can also provide essential resources. But some of the office-related resources that immigrant entrepreneurs are looking for cannot be found through government programs or the private-sector organizations they are partnered with. This is why entrepreneurs are finding that having Toronto office space within a business centre is a better option than a traditional office for rent Toronto.
