Why not have a Toronto office space for rent in one of the world’s top five most livable cities? According to The Economist magazine, Toronto is ranked number 4 of the 140 cities they ranked. Their survey looks at criteria such as infrastructure, stability, culture, environment, education and health care. The highest possible score is 100. The cities were scored based on the scale of being acceptable, tolerable, uncomfortable, undesirable or intolerable under each of the categories.
Melbourne (Australia) topped the list with a score of 97.5, closely followed by Vienna (Australia), which achieved a score of 97.4. Vancouver (British Columbia) was third with an overall score of 97.3; Toronto came in fourth at 97.2. Surprisingly (another Canadian city) Calgary (Alberta) took the fifth place, tied with Adelaide (Australia) at 96.6. Coming in 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th, were Sydney (Australia), Helsinki (Finland), Perth (Australia), and Auckland (New Zealand).
A random group of office space Toronto and shared office space Toronto clients were asked to rank the same 10 cities on the same criteria as the other survey, except with the additional criteria of doing business as an entrepreneur and the informal study was focused on office space. Not surprisingly Melbourne office space again topped the list, because people seem to really want to live and work there. It was interesting that office space Sydney was tied for second with Toronto office space and Vancouver was tied for 5th with Calgary. Then the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th choices for most livable cities and choosing office space were; Vienna office space, Helsinki office space, Perth office space, and Auckland office space.
While the office rental Toronto survey may not have been as scientific as the one carried out by The Economist magazine, the results have some similar trends. This blogger may need to convince the powers to be to send him on a fact finding mission to Melbourne and Sydney to see why Australia is a more desirable place to live and work and to see how we can improve Telsec’s office space Toronto…I can dream can’t I? Even a mission to visit some office space Vancouver would be fine!
