This past week has been quite a festive time around our Toronto office space with some people celebrating the American Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and others taking in the 100th Grey Cup festivities. With the Toronto Argonauts 35-22 win over the Calgary Stampeders, you would think things would be getting back to normal. Nope! To some at our Office Space Toronto, the Grey Cup party is not over yet.
Congratulations to the Toronto Argonauts Football Club from all the staff and office space Toronto clients on winning the 100th Grey Cup – and the first Grey Cup win at home in 60 years. You have made this city very proud.
People around our office for rent Toronto were talking today about the game and the events leading up to it, while others were making plans to slip out of the office tomorrow just before 11 am and head to Yonge Street a few blocks from their office space to Wellington Ave. for the start of the Argo victory parade. The parade celebrating Toronto’s win will travel west to Bay St. It will then turn north up Bay St. and end at Nathan Phillips Square, where the Mayor will read a city proclamation declaring Tuesday, November 27, 2012, to be Toronto Argonauts Day.
One of the stories that did not get talked about today was that our office space Toronto webmaster had the rare privilege to be one of only a few hundred people (out of thousands who wanted the privilege) to take a turn at carrying the Grey Cup trophy during the Sun Life Grey Cup Fan March on Sunday afternoon and be a part of history!
